Nanotyrannus Lethaeus

The Tiny but Mighty Tyrant Art Relesed into the wild 04.26

68 Million years ago during the Upper Cretaceous Period lived this 2 meter tall, 14 feet long weighing in at 1 tonne dinosaur known as the Dwarf Tyrant. The NannoTyrannus was originally found in Montana, USA in 1942, but in 1946 the paleontologists at the time thought it was the bones of a juvenile Gorgosaurus. For years there was a debate as to whether or not this new dinosaur was just a juvenile Tyrannasaurus Rex! Now that we know that the NannoTyrannus was its own dinosaur, we can start building up our knowledge of the tiny but mighty NanoTyrannus.
